The radio station broadcasting on DAB+ and digital celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Ireland with a brilliant mix of music and documentaries
Onic Pride Vibes is live on DAB+ and online for the 2025 Pride Season. The station, which launched for Pride in 2022, and has won numerous industry awards for its content, returns bigger and better for year four, with a lineup of presenters that includes Sean Munsanje, Shivani Dave, Vicki Blight, Stephen Byrne and new talent including Brandon Caufield and Max Kane.
The role of Pride Vibes is to SHINE a light on Irish life by celebrating the successes of the LGBTQ+ community and start conversations around the issues that matter. Through music and custom speech content Pride Vies celebrates Pride and hears from real people as they describe their experiences, their hopes and their fears. The primary focus is aimed at celebrating the LGBTQ+ community across the country, with a focus on the regional Pride festivals, Pride happenings and more as they occur. Pride Vibes looks at the issues both nationally and locally and celebrates organisations and trail blazers from the community. 2025 also sees a regular Pride Vibes slot on a Sunday evening presented by Mia Poland across Onic stations, Cork’s 96fm, Live 95 in Limerick, LMFM and Dublin’s FM104.
As part of our mission to make a difference, Onic Pride Vibes has again teamed up with charity partner BelongTo, a national youth services organisation supporting LGBTQ+ young people in Ireland. It will also be supporting and promoting the recently launched Onic Original Podcast “Ireland Said Yes” which recounts the story of the historic Marriage Referendum Vote from 10 years ago.
The music policy of the station will have a broad appeal with the best new music, all time classics and the inclusion of specialist music shows – from anthems to Eurovision hits, to highlighting up & coming music talent within the community.
Sean Munsanje, who again takes the reigns as Station Manager for Pride Vibes 2025, says,
“I am delighted to say Onic Pride Vibes is back for its fourth year. As always, it’s an absolute honour to be both presenting on the station but also, once again, be behind the scenes as the Station Manager too. Pride Vibes has been an evolving journey, each year getting bigger and better. We always strive to deliver for the LGBTQ+ community and keep up with modern Ireland.
The station will have many brilliant programmes and features delving into LGBTQ+ culture and what it means to be Queer in Ireland as well as playing the best music to take you through every pride festival all summer long 24/7. Pride is a time of year that’s all about celebrating the Queer community and that’s what Prides Vibes is all about. It is also a protest and we can’t forget that. So as we mark ten years since the marriage equality referendum, we'll also chat about all the serious issues and problems growing in Irish society that are affecting our community.
I'm so proud of the team involved in making this year's Pride Vibes such a packed schedule with amazing talent. As always Onic Pride Vibes is made for the community, by the community. Happy Pride!”
Brian McCarthy, Group Commercial and Operations Director for Onic said,
“We’re delighted to be back for Year 4 of Pride Vibes and excited to expand our broadcast offering to the recently launched DAB+ network across Leinster. I'm also really pleased to see our commitment to Pride Vibes expand beyond the summer and to our FM stations with a regular weekly show every Sunday evening across Cork’s 96fm, Live 95 in Limerick, LMFM and Dublin’s FM104.
None of this would be possible without our commercial partners and we're delighted to welcome Maldron Hotels, part of the Dalata Hotel Group, who returns as flagship sponsor again in 2025. Their commitment over the last 3 years has been vital in us being able to deliver the station. We're also very happy to welcome new sponsor Volkswagen for 2025 and look forward to working with them.
Onic Pride Vibes is a real team effort and I’d like to thank all the team at Onic for the work they've put into delivering this exceptional station again this year.”
Shane Mulchrone, Group Social Impact Manager, Dalata Hotel Group added,
“Dalata Hotel Group pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer and we are delighted to be partnering with Pride Vibes again this year as we jointly advocate for - and celebrate the contribution of - the LGBTQ+ community, both to society and to our workplaces. Wishing everyone a Happy Pride 2025!”
Barry Finan of Core Sponsorship,
“Maldron Hotels, part of Dalata Hotel Group, continued sponsorship of Pride Vibes offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in 2025. As Ireland's first and only dedicated LGBT+ radio station, it's great to see Pride Vibes returning for its fourth year. This partnership goes beyond media exposure—it's about aligning with social action, inclusivity, and cultural celebration.”
