
Onic celebrates strong JNLR results, with national market share and reach on the rise, and standout growth across Cork, Dublin, Louth/Meath, Limerick, and beyond, bringing nearly 1 million listeners weekly to its trusted radio and digital platforms.
Dublin, Thursday 7th August 2025: The latest JNLR audience figures show that Ireland loves Radio with 90.2% or 3.973m 15+ adults tuning in on a weekly basis. It’s also been a very positive story for Onic which shows growth across all key metrics with national market share growing to 10.6% and national daily reach of 516,000* (percentage 11.7%). Onic reaches 793,000 or 18% of the adult population on a weekly basis.
In Cork, Cork’s 96fm has seen growth in Market Share (7a-7p,) to 17.5% while the combined 96FM/C103 offering now reaches 224,000 listeners every week.
In Dublin, FM104 has grown its listenership to 265,000 adults weekly, while Dublin’s Q102 reaches an impressive 170,000. LMFM in the Louth/Meath regions has shown further growth with a market share of 36.4% and a daily reach of 73,000 while in Limerick, Live 95 reaches 62,390 adults over the age of 15 every day.
The Onic Urban National Package, which includes Galway Bay FM (131,00) and WLR (67,000), now delivers a combined reach of nearly 1 million (994,000) engaged listeners per week.
Separately, U105, Onic’s Belfast based station, broadcasting on FM and DAB+, covering all of Northern Ireland, delivered impressive listenership in the most recent Rajar results with a weekly reach of 211,000
