The latest JNLR audience figures emphatically confirm Ireland’s love of radio. 90% of adults tune into radio every week, with listeners tuning in for an average of four hours every day, cementing radios’ role as a vital part of Irish life and a key component of all audio listening.

It has been another period of exceptional growth for Onic, which has seen increases across all key listenership metrics. 

Onic reaches over 800,000 (18%) adults every week (weekly reach.) Our daily listenership is equally impressive, with 528,000  adults choosing Onic brands every day, representing an increase of 12% of new listeners across the last year,  a significant achievement which underscores the strength and relevance of our content.

Highlights Across the Country

  • In Dublin, FM104 continues its growth trajectory, now reaching a weekly audience of 278,000 listeners with a strong all-adult Market Share of 7.8%.

  • The combined offering of Cork’s 96FM & C103 delivers a combined Market Share of 30.1%. Individually, 96FM attracts 112,000 daily listeners, while C103 adds a complimentary audience of 76,000 listening each day.

  • In Limerick, Live 95 has delivered growth in the latest book, achieving a market share of 25.1%.

  • LMFM in the Louth/Meath regions maintains its dominance with an outstanding market share of 38.7%.

The Onic Urban National Package, which includes partner stations Galway Bay FM and WLR, has crossed a major threshold and now delivers a combined weekly reach of over 1,000,000 engaged listeners across the country.
